రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్తగా మరో 11 పురపాలికలు (మున్సిపాలిటీలు) ఏర్పాటయ్యాయి. ఈ మేరకు పురపాలక శాఖ ముఖ్యకార్యదర్శి బి.శ్యాంబాబు బుధవారం ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు. దీంతో మొత్తం పురపాలికల సంఖ్య 161కి చేరింది. రాష్ట్రంలో 124 పుర, నగర పాలికలు ఉండగా.. రెండు నెలల కిందట కొత్తగా 26 , ప్రస్తుతం 11 మొత్తం 37 పురపాలికలు ఏర్పాటయ్యాయి. మహబూబాబాద్‌ పురపాలికను రెండో శ్రేణి పురపాలికగా హోదా పెంచారు.
