Meliaputti Venu Gopal Swamy Temple –Meliaputti or Meliyaputti is a village and a Mandal headquaters in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Meliaputti is ( Orissa boarder ) located at a distance of 24 Kilometers from Tekkali of Srikakulam District.
This Temple (Lord Krishna) ,Venugopalaswamy or Radhagovindaswamy temple at meliaputti , was built by Veeraveerendra Pratap Rudra Gajapati Narayana Deo , Gajapati Maharaja of Parlakimidi. . This Temple , Popularly known as Khajuraho of A.P., and the exquisite carvings on the temple walls are supposed to convey the message of the vedas. The dome is decorated with 108 lotus flowers of which every flower is unique in its shape. This is one of the famous temple in Srikakulam Dist.
