Sri sri Sri Vijaya durga ammavaru was established about 50 years ago in Naanubala Street of Srikakulam Town . This temple was Modernized and re- Prathista was done in 2006 with the help of donors & devotees of Ammavaru . Every year on ' Jesta Bahula Sasti ' anniversary of this Vijayadurga will be celebrated in a grand way .
During Dasara days this Goddess appears in different incarnations of the ammavaru ... one for one day for the nine Navaratrulu . Goddess blesses her devotees with good health and prosperity , remove their sins and make them pure .
