Among all the venkateswara swamy temples in Srikakulam town ... the temple near fajulbegpeta st. on Narayana tirumala hill is very famous . It was about 48 years ago in 1961 late sri Gurugubelli Narayana Das established a small temple on this hill and on its due course it was developed by him with the help of venkateswara devotees donations . After his death his sons .. sri justis Gurugubelli Yathirajulu , and Srinivasulu took the responsibilities of the temple . Srinivaslu became the pradhana archakulu of this God ... done a lot work physically and Spirutually , brought this temple to the present status .
This place looks very beautiful and calm and divine , very pleasing . In side the Temple arround the main God (Garbhalayam) many beautiful paintings of different God & Goddess are present. Beda madapam , Rajagopuram , on the other side Kalyanamadapam , AnadhaSharanalayam , Annadhana building are very attractive and appreciable . Out side on the way of entrance there are Big Garuda Statue and Hanuman Statue looks fine and appear as Rakshakas(protectors) of the great temple .
There is a pond cum lake called "Puskarini" which is surrounded by a compound wall is for holly dip for the pilgrims and is for Swamy in brahmotsavalu as like that of sri tirumala tirupati venkateswara swamy.
