Seetharama swamy temple at Gullaseetharam puram





Gullaseetharam puram is a village in Santhakavati Mandal in Srikakulam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India

It is located at a diatance of 9 kms from business and industrial town of Rajam .

The famous SeetharamSwamy temple of this village was built by tha kings of Bobbili , some 350 yrs ago. The idols of presiding deity is unique as it is carved out of a single black granite stone . It shows Seethamma sitting on the lap of Ramaswamy. The main temple bears an impressive array of beautiful sculpture and the prakara mandapa is quite isspiring with its sculpture and carvings
